Green Film Backing

Our Green Film Backing Disc contains durable, fast-cutting abrasive discs for aggressive collision repair jobs. Discs feature fast-cutting Zirconium Oxide abrasive built on Polyester film backing. Multi-hole construction helps clear dust from the disc surface. discs feature adhesive and hook and loop backing for fast, easy changeout.

 

Green Disc Roll is packaged as multiple adhesive-backed discs rolled into a tube. These discs tear off conveniently one at a time for speed and efficiency, and they require no liners, saving material costs. discs feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backs — simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you're ready to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc.

With its Zirconium Oxide mineral abrasive, the Green Film backing Disc provides a sharp cut — more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. Durable Polyester film backing makes the disc ideal for more aggressive auto body sanding jobs such as shaping plastic filler, removing paint around damaged areas, and scratch refinement of bare metal.

 

Resists Dust and Debris
Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on our Green Film Disc are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris to avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.

 

The 5-hole or 6-hole pattern on our disc helps clear dust from the disc's surface, making for longer disc life and a more consistent finish. This hole design doesn't even require the alignment of holes with the disc pad, making disc changes quick and simple.
